I'm going to buy 5l of Bilberry (along with a hand bottle and foaming chem resistant head) once I've got my wheels refirbed and they've cured properly. I'll then clay, polish with SRP, seal with EGP and hit them with a couple of layers of wax. I'll get some proper wheel sealant once I've depleated my now redundant supplies of AG shiz, probably Poorboy's Wheel Sealant or CG Wheel Guard.

Ive got CG wheel guard, and it does a great job! Its so much easier to clean the wheels when this is applied, as all the s**t doesnt stick to the wheels as much :)

AS above, people seem to be raving about Bilberry Wheel Cleaner at the moment.

I haven't tried it myself, but Andy (clio-coby) seems to get on well with it.

Once the wheels are clean, I would suggest taking them off, claying them, polishing them with Super Resin Polish (SRP) and then sealing them with something, again down to personal choice, like Extra Gloss Protection (EGP). Maybe even a layer of collinites 476 (or another hard wearing wax).

What's it like to apply and remove though?

Ive got a large applicator pad, its quite easy to apply, although I thought CG wheel guard was a waxy kind of substance. It's not! It's like mayonnaise lol. So its real easy to apply, and I havent reapplied any for about 6 weeks, and the alloys still look great between washes!

Soapy water will absolutely be enough. For your rims ensure there well sealed and you'll never need more than soapy water.

Or...If you really must. 10:1 APC or born to be mild.

I've tried quite a few wheel cleaners, britemax, megs, bilberry etc and bilberry gives the best results for me!

The PB wheel sealent is quality, such a ball ache to buff off though :dapprove:

Where do you get these products from ?

I used wonder wheels the other day, but really diluted down as it's very acidic.

Wonder Wheels dulled my wheels and so was instantly chucked (a few years back). Little brush that came with is still going strong however!!

Its some pretty potent stuff and if not rinsed of incredibly thoroughly will soon start to show damage on your wheels,

Go for a Non Acidic Product that way you can use it as many times as you like with no worries about corrosion/damage.

I think I rinse them enough :S

I've run out now anyway so i'll have a look at another product to use instead that is acid free.

Its been mentioned alot but Bilberry is really good and is Acid Free and you dilute it down so it will last a long time,

Bilbberry wheel Cleaner
SRP
EGP
PB Wheel Sealant

Is my choice list for Wheels at the moment and then AG Tyre Dressing and it'll have your Wheels looking very nice and glossy :)
