wheel jack kit with no spare wheel - what is the point?

I have a clio 182 cup and thanks to the twin exhaust there is no room for a spare wheel and yet the car still has a car jacking kit..... what is the point ??? why not just leave it in the garage ???

Presumably to take the deformation off a flat so you can use the tyre foam?

I run square tyres on mine so i've no need for a jack. Ride quality has diminished slightly, but they can't all be winners.

So you can't you a 'foam bomb' or electric pump with bottle of sealant without jacking the car up first ??

No you need the weight off the tyre.

I bought a space saver wheel and chucked it in the back, foam is rubbish.
