Is there a way i can see the pics of your handy work?! 
I'm looking to do a wheel refurb myself.... have 182 + anthracite wheels.
Going to try it on the worst curbed one, and if it comes out ok will move onto the others!...
Obviously i need to sand down the whole of the front of the wheel, i'm assuming that includes the centre where the cover goes, and all the nooks and crannies?
Also, what do you do with the back of the wheel? Do you have to sand that down too, even though there is nothing wrong with it?... Or do you cover it in masking tape (as you can do with the tyres) and spray around it? I would have though leaving the back and re-spraying the front may cause it to flake as you are spraying etc new paint alongside the original?...
