Wheel spacer help....

Went in with intentions of buying a new IK for the 16v, came out with one and a big brake conversion.... bloody Ktec.

Got 8mm spacers from halfords on the way home as the brakes will rub the phase 2 alloys otherwise, but need to source some 10mm longer studs, anyone know where i can get them in a bit of a hurry??? im keen to get them on the car!!

Failing that am i going to be risking it if i put them on using the standard bolt temporarily? obviously only if they have sufficient thread into the hubs but is it dodgy???

depends how many turns you get into the hub mate, id be more likely to wait til i have longer bolts if i were you

as for longer bolts try companies that sell alloy wheel sets, i think demon tweeks sell longer wheel bolts and hub spacers etc and can turn it around in a couple of days

yeah think your probably right, better than driving around paranoid - I am anyway after my recent spate of mechanical imperfections!!
