Wheel Tracking in Manchester??

  Fiesta ST3
im thinking of getting my car tracked as not sure when it last had it done so better safe then sorry, do not want my new tyres to start wearing unevenly

rather not take it to Kwik Fit so does anyone know of any decent garages that to tracking in or around Manchester?

hey mate, sure most garages will do it, they just all charge different amounts thats all, did you not track it at the garage you got your tyres fitted, should have done a deal with them ;)

Id try either Dave Sheldons who are well known for doing a damn fine job, they charge £25 for boggo tracking + 25 for camber. Or a place called perfect alignment in Irlam same price both spot on, If you go to the place in irlam it may well be beneficial dropping my name. Let me know.

Seb is well known round here for his shed and the way it needs tracking every 3 days lol,

shortie got low!!!!

Ok not Manchester, but how about Demon Tweeks (Wrexham, 50/60min. drive each way) - they did mine not so long ago and they seem good.

About £35/40 iirc - but don't take my word for that, could be wrong.

Thanks guys.

I'm now thinking 4 wheel alignment. Would I benefit from this Esther then normal tracking? Or would I need to do both?

  Ford Mundano
The 4 wheel alignment option would cover everything. I had 4 wheel alignment done recently (£50) due to the car pulling to the left and for peace of mind really. Car felt alot better for it although i was informed the camber on my rear passenger side wheel was off due to a slightly bent axle which i still havent got round to sorting so it still pulls to the left nicely. :(

Thanks mate

ive spoken to a few local garages and one i spoke to Awesome-GTI said that the rear wheels caanot be adjusted so cant do 4 wheel alignment, only tracking.

hmm

  Ford Mundano
thats true. I only went for the 4 wheel alignment as it was pulling badly to the left and i was feeling paranoid about the car at the time as you say its not adjustable but as it happens it did give me the cause of the pulling as the tracking was fine just bent axle causing the problem. depends how much peace of mind you're after lol.

When I had mine done at Demon Tweeks they checked the alignment of all four wheels and gave me a printout - but yeah you can't actually adjust rears.

Sweet! Sheldons is around the corner from my flat. The balancing/tracking is seriously doing my head in!

I take my 182 to sheldons at least once a month. Manchester roads are awful... Potholes everywhere
