Wheel width!

Ok... Just after some advice please guys.

Long story short, I purchased some 8J wheels a few months back and decided to fit them today but soon noticed they are the same width as my 7.5J wheels. The back of the wheels all have an 8j and a 7.5J stamp. After looking at a few guide for measuring I'm pretty sure they are 7.5J.

Can anyone confirm that I am right?

You measure from both outsides, meaning that wheel looks 8.25j tbh

Is that a guess? Same mistake made as the person I got the wheels from.

You do indeed measure from the inside,, as that diagram clearly shows.
