Wheels and keepin em clean

I was lucky enough to lay my hands on some trophy alloys, and before they went on I waxed them about 6 times. Everytime I wash the car they are waxed at least once.

And they still look mint. So go wax your alloys. I had never done it before and saw my original 182 alloys getting more and more stuff stuck to them, and also watched a set of 17" OZ super T's become ruined. Seriously. It makes cleaning them SO easy too.

What wax do you use? I use Autoglym alloy wheel cleaner on mine and I don't rate it. A mate said to use engine cleaner on them?!

When waxed and sealed it means you only need car shampoo to clean them.

I polish and seal mine with Autoglym Super Resin and Extra Gloss Protection.

wheels are too tough to clean, i dont think there is ever an answer unless you clean it daily

How often do you polish and seal your wheels r-jay? Every couple of months?

They really arent tough to clean when waxed. Crap just wipes off.

Yeah even just a good wax and polish once a year and they are easier to clean.

DS3000 pads will just f**k them up no matter what you put on them.

Err... I must say that autoglym motorcycle cleaner / engine&machine cleaner works a treat with a brush...

Most of the time I can't be arsed tho...

I do at least 500 miles a week and my DS2500 combined with the brembo hi-carbon discs tends to leave a hefty amount of sh*te on the wheels!
