Wheels cleaned with a brillo pad

  PH1 iceburg
The missus took her car to her nan and grandads the otherday and her grandad went out of the house and returned about 10 minutes later saying he had cleaned her wheels but because there were some marks he had to use a brillo pad (what the fuk????).

Anyway he has fucked the wheels they are not deeply scratched but looks like it has taken some sort of layer off the alloy.

Is there a quick fix for this or will they need a refurb? Cant get pics cos its dark. Tried just using SRP but no joy!!!!!

Old people are thick!!!!

I see this all the time, coupled with fairy liquid and no doubt a sponge for stubborn marks

pmsl a guy at my work who drives the spanking new black jeep noticed a lump of bird crap on the rear wheel arch so he gets a brillo pad out and scrubs it all off. i walked out the control room and it looked like someone had drawn over the arch with a spirograph. lol what a knuckle head glad it wasnt my car i was laughing my nuts of at him being so stoooopid. he just kept saying wasnt me wasnt me .lol

If it's only the lacquer that is scratched the wheels should polish up ok by hand .

Try the carlack 68 duo or Meguiars scratch X
