wheels hitting off arch

  Mk2 Clio 1.6
hey hey.

i have standard springs on my car and have recently put 15mm spacers on aswell. ive noticed that when i have one person in the back the wheel is hitting off the rear arches, so i can only have two people (me and one other) in the car at any one time.

has this happened to anyone else?

cheers, Chriss

thought about it but naaaaaaaaah it looks good with them on. me being 6ft 3 i can only fit 3 anyway so may aswell change it to two :rasp:

You ideally need to take them off and measure what size spacer you can fit so that the wheel will travel up beside the arch rather than hit it. You may be able to get your spacers machined rather than buy new ones

yeah i know what your saying. probably the best option, but i just quite like the look as the wheels are in line with the arch as opposed to being slightly sunk in the arch.

i had my oz 16" wheels bounce off arch now it have to get rear quarter re-sprayed as its has dented and pulled paint off FFS

i have also had an arch related puncher in tyre before :(

seriously it may look good but its not worth the damage
