When is an import 'NOT' an import!!!!

Been looking into buying wife a new car, over past three weeks seen some of the worst cars available private.
So decided to bite bullet & get a nearly new one. Been searching & eventually found an unregistered 07 facelift scenic.
Got told it's an import, thought fair enough it's cheap.

Now comes the odd part, just phoned renault uk & they tell me it's a 'full uk car' with full warranty & AA cover..........

I beleive for the imports if you ask for the 3 years warranty they give it.

that's true. Renault have been caught out saying cars are 'Full UK' in the past though when they were blatantly imports.

This car is advertised as an import.

Imports come with 2 years warranty from 06 on.

Imports don't get full european AA cover either, only uk renault registered cars.
