When it comes

When i get the Cup in 5 weeks what kind of run in time do they reccommend?

My mates Seat Leon Cupra took 1000 miles at no more than half its total velocity. He never took it over 4k revs and i think he only hit a ton once and that was cuz some joker in a VW tried to undertake us on the way to Norwich

Give it 200 miles to let brakes bed in then start giving it some! Thats what I did and im now on 1600 miles and its flying. I wouldnt pussy foot about with a new 172/Cup.

running in, heres another debate. I work For Renault and have never bothered running in an engine, dont need to. They tend to make more power if you rag them.

I have lots of reasons why, and i say them all the time, but everybody goes running them in for 600 miles at 3500rpm and comes away with nothing acheived.

No need! lol

just enjoy it, if anything does happen, they replace it....easy.

nope, but i wont go bang!

Like i said, we NEVER used a car that had the engine run in, all the race cars were based on thrashed cars.
