where are the numbers

i need to find out my engine and chassis numbers for my insurance

i cant find my slip thing 2with them on

so could someone tell me where to find them on my car??(2002 1.6)

are they not on the inside of your door ?

open the drivers side door and i think there should be a plate or a bit of paper where the door closes (where it joins with the car not actually on the door but on the other half of you car next to your seatbelts...that bit) am i making any sense here ? im tired !!!!!!

also look on your documents for car they should be there too, mind still worth corss checking to make sure no one made a boo boo at the start.
