If this is to fit that 172 magnex to your 1.2 then forgot getting one of those, you need a custom centre section made up as the 1.2 exhaust doesn't fit to the cat with a bolted flange.

Then you shouldn't need one of those inserts then. You don't mount to the back of the cat on a 1.2 with a bolted flange. They're clamped.

The custom centre section should have a bevelled edge on it at the front like an inwards flare thats where it joins to the cat and clamps.

well ill be pickin the centre section and the magnex back box next week so will be takin it to a garage to get fit so ill see what they say

Yeh no probs, its the other way round now I think about it the inward roll is on the cat the exhaust is flared.

the guy i baught the magnex 6x4 off said it neeeded this part but it was the full exshasut and cat bac but i will be removing the back part as i have the custom centre section to make it fit my 1.2 ..

so do i need one or not now u have got me confused lol
