Where is the water pump?

Where is the water pump on a 54 plate Clio 1.2 16v. A lot of people are saying it's the water pump thats grinding/rattling/making a dodgy noise. I was thinking of using a stethoscope or a screwdriver to make sure it's defo that. Where's it located? Preferably with a picture, and a arrow. Thank you.

it's cambelt driven. If you've not got AC it's pretty easy and with good access.

Is the cambelt relatively easy to replace if you have no AC.

Thinking of fitting it myself along with new waterpump.

I did mine last week took about 3hrs including an oil change. Just remember to lock off the flywheel when undoing the crankshaft pulley.

Or get a mate to press the brake whilst in gear?

Is locking the flywheel simpler another way.

it's part of the procedure to put a pin in the flywheel

What kind of noise is your car making? Mine is doing the exact same thing but I'm not sure but what I've heard if it's the water pump... Do you have a recording? Of your noise.This is a one I've got ......
