Where to bolt sub...

So im bolting my sub down today, but where do i actuall bolt it? as in where do i put the bolts? Just drill through my car and wack them in? Seems a little daft...

Make a false floor from mdf and bolt it to that safest way!

you dont even need to bolt it down, if you build a raise false floor the amp can sit under it and it will hold the sub box in place
my brother and i made one for his saxo, it can be made with or without the window depending on whether you want you amp visable

mines just velcroed down to two struts that i made running above the spare wheel, its aint pretty but it isnt a show piece as it takes up the hole boot!

Just get some mdf and make up a false floor, will make it easier to take it in and out.

If you're screwing directly onto the boot remember to give it a bit of paint to stop it rusting.
