Where to mount TV

Just wondered where people have mounted a TV in a Mk 1??

Ive had my TV and DVD wired up for ages but never really got round to getting the TV mounted properly.

Any pics would be good too!

I was thinking on the flat bit above the central air vents, a stand would screw nicley onto that.

Thats on my list of stuff to do, complete wiht a ps2 built inot the glove box

Dont know of anyone who has done it in a mk1 TBH.

G16NNN has a monitor mounted where youd have the extra dials in a 16v, other people have frabricated mounts into the glove box etc.

i would of thought a 24 inch flat screen tv would b way to big to fit in a clio

I took out the central air vents - there is loooooooooooadsa room left behind em!! lol

I am getting a mount for the screen machined soon out of brushed aluminium to match my new bespoke dial set!!

This will also house a new custom centre console with a control switch for making the tv screen go up and down into the dash so its hidden and i can see the oil dials when not using it!! Got the motorized mechanism already and it works great!!

If people are interested i could get more of the tv screen dash vent mounts machined as ive had it modelled by pc??
