whhat should this plug be attached to?

took off the bumper today to get at the lights and found this plug tapped up. had a look but couldnt see another loose plug for it.

anyone? was just sat on the slam panel underneath the light

is it? theres the bonnet open switch which is plugged in. were should the other end be if so?

im sure i also have this on my car too! i tie wrapped it out of the way though . does it come from uinder the air box somewhere?
so i'm guessing this isn't an issue with it being unplugged? just an optional extra or something?

Looks like the acoustic valve plug to me based on where it is

could be actually as i dont have any pipe work going to the airbox just the actual box. having not had it when i got the car i don't know what should be there. if anyones got a pic of the bay to see what should be there
