which abs sensor controls the speedo

car is an 172 mk2 speedo is dead, all dials work apart from miles dont clock up. abs rings seem fine on every corner, heard its the rear offside? just wanting to make sure before i go spending.

It comes via the muiltiplex netowork from the Abs computer mate. Its not quite as simple as coming from just 1 sensor. It will have to go on clip for any fault in the network.

Well mine has no rear ones anymore so it must use front ones?
Hence why speed goes up in mph wen you spin.
