Which aftermarket steering wheel?

Hi all..

Ive currently got an OMP wheel which i like, but im getting a phase 1 at the weekend and ill be looking for a new wheel.

I find the OMP wheel a bit big at the moment but i like the dish.

What do you lot suggest?

well ive just ordered a sparco 383 330mm 39mm dish.

what size is yours?

Ah that looks decent enough! Mine is 350mm and full dish.

I'd love to buy the same one but its 140+ a boss :l

Ah, just found a corsica on ebay for 75 rather than the 140 demontweeks want.

I like the look of the sabelt but i think i would miss the dish tbh!

personally dont like the corsica in a clio, and like you i wanted a bit of dish thats why i went for the sparco, best of both worlds

tad pricey though but not as pricey as the sabelt

Maybe a silly question but are the boss kits for the ph1 and ph2 different?

Looking on ebay they are listed as 98-05 but my brother had one which wouldnt fit his 182? Figured it must of been out of a ph1

If they are the same then ill just keep my corsica!

as far as i know they are the same, but the omp ones dont have a hole big enough for cruise control wires

Its got the OMP lettering on it but the horn button is different to my current one.

as far as i know the only place to get a sabelt is ktec over £200

very nice steering wheel but wouldnt call it best for the money because its very expensive!

another option is a normal sabelt wheel like this one

Quick question here now..

In the phase 1 is a ph2 dash and steering wheel etc. And in the ph2 ive got my boss and wheel, is it hard to change the squib and whatever else i need over from the ph2 into the ph1?
