which is better (clio turbo or 205mi16)

ok im in a dilemma, i have always owned 205 gti's but iv always fancied a clio turbo for some reason???(new someone who had one)

what i want to know is which would be better in all aspects(, performance driveability,maintenence etc etc

a mk 1 clio 1.7 turbo (volvo) running 180bhp(potential for more)(uprated suspension etc)

or a 205 mi16 (160bhp)

???????

any info from people who have owned either of these would be really helpful

I raced a 205 MI16 in my valver and was quicker, 1/8th mile times were 10.269 for me and the 205 was 10.874

and my valver then was running a fucked clutch, and gearbox. was only running cams exhaust and filter, but made 147bhp on the rollers.

I'd say Clio turbo unless the 205 Mi 16 is on throttle bodies

Personally I'd rather have the Mi. Mate of mine has a 205 with a gti6 lump in it with carbs and mild cams and it'd blow the doors off a 1.7 turbo'd clio.

mi16 all the way, check out my mates,gearbox is fucked hence the trouble up the 1/4 mile, easily a 13 sec car, its fooking rapid!

Ive quarter miled a 205 stripped mi16 on boddies and it beat me by half a second (mines 172, cams, ecu, filter, decat exhaust)
