which lowering springs

i was wondering if there is much difference between the makes of lowering springs in terms of handling performance. i am looking for a 35-40mm drop and am considering apex (40mm) and spax (35mm)

the spax are £72 and apex £83

i cant afford coilovers so 40mm is the max with my shocks.

suggestions please...cheers

Eibach Sportlines are supposedly the best springs you can buy for a 40mm drop.

theyre 45mm drop and cost like £130-150 bit much for just springs

Sportlines are the best, without doubt (to be honest I've only ever sampled std and Sportlines).

I heard lots about Apex though. Very unforgiving. Sportlines give almost the same drop but are progressive, in short, bumps aren't too bad with all the stiffness for cornering.
