which next clio should I go for?

Unless you have money to burn I'd get a 172 Cup....the best option for the money...especially as you plan on doing RS Track days. The meggy or vee would be too expensive to get track insurance and be slower to boot....

as Chris said, chances are it will have been done, if not avoid it as it should have been by now Giles.

Best bet is to test them all out, depends what you want out of the car, but the Ph1 is the rawest of the Mk2's, still not quite raw enough for my liking, so on that I dont think I'd bother with a 182 tbh. This will almost certainly be my last Clio now...

Question is.............what next then!

can get an E39 for about £16k for a nice example now, makes sense, think it would be cheaper to run and easier to live with day to day than a Skyline... lol

The M5 I would have but its simply too big, I'd love silly driving one LOL! I'd imagine a Skyline may be cheaper to run than a 5.0 v8 LOL that said probably not

they have a 172, 40 thou, only problem is its about 6500 (less than whats shown on the site!!) ..... but its in that gorgeous bluey silver colour, (moonstone)???? and its been there about 2 yrs, seen it myself looks in good nick, just overpriced, wave some ££££ in their direction and i'm sure they'd snap your arm off

If it was me it would be a ff 182 with cup packs Giles. Some good prices out there for lowish mile examples!
