Which seat - choices inside

Really fancy some new seats for the old bus but cant decide at all what to go for.

As always im on a budget and i've come across a few choices which are all pretty similar price-wise.

Really fancy a simple bucket and like the look of this but dont like the idea of loosing my rear seats anyway choice number 1:

On the basis i dont really want to loose my back seats i right like the look of these two recliners. Both slightly more expensive than the buckets but not silly.

Don't do fixed buckets man, first recliners look ace as do second recliners but the high bolsters would really piss me off on the second recliners.

First recliners for me.

Buckets if u wanna run harnesses. If not then u have to have recliners. U cant run buckets with seat belts lol.

Yeah, you can. AR runs pole positions in his vee without harnesses.

Not really IMO, depends though. If you want the rear seats then you'll never be completely happy and love fixed bucket so, definatly recliners.

Bimarco Experts are a really nice SIMPLE bucket seat, look very similar to the Cobra Imolas, but MUCH cheaper.
JMS sell them, have a look in their forum section :)

My favourites all along have been the first recliners, they look kind of OEM which i like.

Would still run the harnesses with them when the fancy took me, then whip them out in favour of old belts if i needed passengers in the back. Got some nice black sparco 4-points lined up at work.

The first recliners are £199 each which isnt bad. The buckets shown i've found for the stupidly cheap £230 a pair!

No suppose its not that bad but u cant get in the back and harnesses look soooo much better. Seems totally pointless to me that. Each to their own tho i suppose :S

That bucket looks like an exact replica of a recaro seat. Probably made in the same factory lol

I run normal seatbelts with my Bimarco without any problem.

It depends how high the seat side is - if the belt is held off you then not a good idea.

The other thing to consider is the pretensioner. If the belt lies across the two sides of bucket and the pretensioner fires it can inhibit its tightening effect or even worse snap the seat sides. We loose it completely with our frames, just fix a rear buckle through the 6mm thick plate that forms the side mount.
