Which shocks have I got? 172 Cup

I have just bought a Clio 172 Cup.

I have a set of genuine Renault Shocks to replace the K-Tec coilovers that are currently on the car.

How can I check they are the correct ones for a 172 Cup and not a normal 172, is there any point on the shock that I can measure.

Thanks
Matthew

Fronts do differ in bolt spacing as below. Only ones that differ are 182 with cup pack and trophy suspension and they only differ for front shocks

172, 172cup, non-cupped 182 = 54mm

182ff and 182cup and trophy= 60mm

Non-sports= 52mm or 58mm

I know 172 Cup springs have yellow/white markings. Not sure if the valving is any different....? Deffo 54mm though for 172, or non cupped 182's.

172 cup and non cup rear shocks are exactly the same.

172 cup front shocks are slightly stiffer than just 172 shocks BUT they fit both models.

182 cup shocks will only fit 182 cups.

182 non cups can have the 172 and 172 cup shocks.
