right its nearly time to order my cage, but i am torn between these 2 off the shelf ones for my mk1 valver

sparco - part number 00723161 (if this is wrong i have some other numbers )

omp - part number AB/105p/144

option 3 is to have a custom made one, but not sure on the costs of this :S

oh and if fred or anyone else see's this, would you mind getting me prices on the above:approve:

both do the same thing.

they will both conform to the same FIA safety standards too.

a custom fabricted cage wont be stress tested etc. so it may not be as strong as the one's above.

depends what your after really, looks or function.

yeh that is part of the reason i was steering away from a custom one, i like the idea of putting bars where i want, but not the fact it hasnt gone through the same tests as these

i would have function over looks any day of the week with this project

omp is on ebay for £350 ish iirc

Demon Tweeks are usually pretty good on roll cage prices, so probably worth seeing what they charge.
