Whining noise when cold

I am new to the Renault world and not long had my 182 Cup. Still not using yet as waiting to sell my old car. However, I have notice that when you start it there is quite a loud whining noise for perhaps 10-15 secs then it gradually fades away. Anyone else had this with theres or have any idea what it might be?

Mine does this too, and other people say the same thing. Think its just a common thing on these.

Think it comes from the power steering pump
