whistle over 3k!!

I have a 1*2..when i go over 3k i get a little whistle nosie..which is normal ..but just drove it and the whistle noise is really loud now for some reason can this relate to my exhaust??

If its anything like my mates C2 vts that whistled when the inlet manifold was coming loose.. might be worth checking that

could be manifold gasket

very very likely to be the gasket from the manifold conecting to the cat - this was my problem anyway and ive herd its quite common

how much would this cost me ??

do it yourself on a 182, as far as im aware it ony 2 bolts. Much harder job on a 172

Is there any chance it could be my baffles in the exhaust?

wouldn't like to say but I think baffles tend to cause a rattle not a whistle. A whistle is normally related to an air leak or noisy pulleys
