Gave my GW a good detail the other week, clay Tardis etc etc. But f**k me in the sun its a nightmare!!!

Firstly it glares to f**k in direct sun, (think i need to detail in some aviators or summat as i cant pull it inside :( )
Secondly, is there any tips on seeing were you've applied the product? All the stuff I have hazes white, so in thee lies the problem :(

I used to wear sunglasses when washing my Leon lol!!

As for seeing what you've done - I done a panel at a time and if you look from a distance you can tell :) (not very easy though! )

Try painting it, you can't see sh*t when lacquering it unless you're lying on the floor looking upwards. Pain in the ass.

Same will apply to detailing it, get down low and look upwards at the panels.

^ I'll try that!

Put it this way my eyes hurt after as I dint have any sunglasses :) :(

I use SRP/EPG like I have on all cars but the EPG was a nightmare. Kept finding bits i'd missed :( :(

Could use a coloured wax, but have loads of P21s, Petes 53 in the cupboard, seems a waste to buy a new one?

You don't need another wax mate. Do 2 or so panels at a time and then go back round the car for a 2nd layer more so for good coverage.

Use Petes it's very good especially if left for a little too long. Did you have a look at that jeff's stuff mate?

If I owned a white car it would be my first buy. :)

Doing a couple of panels at a time should make it a little easier and apply as thin as possible.

It's a good thing if you can't see where it is mate that means you're applying it correctly.

Get rid of the egp and use SRP then wax. Oh and always use sunglasses when working on white!

I only had to wash a white car once and my eyes were streaming!
