Depends.

I have run mine for 300 miles (under 3500 revs mostly) and average 26mpg.
This is mostly stop/start town traffic though.

If you go on a couple of hundred mile run on motorways you could see 30mpg, but no way an average of 30-30mpg.

I got 23.6mpg the first week. I filled up fully again on Saturday. Drove a 42mile round trip to Birmingham using the M6 and saw 32mpg. Today I've driven to Brum again using normal roads and it's showing just over 29mpg.

I think he's looking for a family bus now there's a sprog on the way.
