White spots

Spent a good 4 hours cleaning my 182 yesterday. Gave it a warm rinse, then a quick clay. There were quite a few tar spots so got rid of those, but on the passenger side there were also a few white spots, wouldn't come off with clay or whilst shampoosing later on. I'm sure they weren't there last time i clayed it (bout 4 months ago). Has anyone come across these on your cars and if so how did you get them out?

Nah they were definately raised above the surface of the paint so don't think they're chips. Thanks anyway.

Would pics help?

Is there any product out there that may tackle these??
