I am going to be purchasing one of these very shortly.

Did the cheap coilover route.

Now for more go, rather than show.

Yes mate, I've had 3 now, 1 on the ph1, 1 on my trophy and 1 on the cup.

Each one has made a massive difference to each car no matter what the set-up is

ive got cheap bouncy VMAXX coils on atm (bought the car with them on)
so it should compliment it quite well then.....

Any advice for fitting? bit of a novice questions but havent done it before, looks simple and good instructions but just asking someone who knows lol..

I ran the ph1 with vmaxx + whiteline and it was fine.

It's pretty simple mate, just make sure you can take the weight off the rear axle, get an 18mm spanner handy as you'll fine it easier to tighten the shocker bolts back up with it instead of having to line up the L brackets without the ARB fixed in position

Is there a easy place to jack it up mate?
Hopefully mine will be here soon! I'll be doing it over a pit though, make it much easier or not really?

terry172................

any ratings on the arb? how do you find it?

good value? how does it effect handling?

aidan

Well I have now had it on the car for approx 6 weeks......

I rate it very highly mate, improves the turn in loads and gives you more feedback with how the car is reacting to what you are doing :)

Great value mate. £170 posted brand new and takes approx 30-45mins to fit. Will be leaving it on the soft setting for now until I get on circuit and then at lunch time I will adjust it and see how I go in the afternoon.

Best money I have spent on the clio :)

Cheers to all for the advice given before I purchased, much appreciated as it's definately been worth it :)

I have never fitted one before and it was very easy.......

Follow these instructions http://www.whiteline.com.au/instruction/Z319_BRR10.pdf

I did it by doing the following;

Bottom strut bolts maybe tight, get these moving 1st before jacking the car up

Jack up the car using the rear jacking points

Place axle stands on either side on the inside edge of the rear beam near the rear spring platforms (Takes the weight of the rear beam)

Remove the bottom strut bolts

Build up the L bracket parts, attach them and the rear strut back to the car using the same bolts. Slightly lean the L brackets towards the car to make up for the angle the car is in the air. Tighten these as much as you can.

Attach ARB to the rear beam using the brackets but leave the nuts loose enough to allow the bar to move.

Lower the car making sure you hold the bar up out the way so it doesn't get caught anywhere.

Attach bar to the L brackets loosely

Tighten the bolts around the rear beam so that nothing can shift

Now tighthen the l brackets to bar bolts.

This worked for me and I take no responsibility for how this guide may not work for you.......

ENJOY :)
