whiteline ARB

  Clio 182
Hi guys what would be the best setting on a whiteline ARB for a clio 182 with cup suspension for fast road use hard or soft? cheers

  Mondeo TXS Bardge.
i know its not a clio but i tried my whiteline arb on the hard setting and it made my back end very skittish alot more prone to oversteer, I drive like a hooligan mind you. the "soft setting" is more than adequate imo, i think you'd need a stiffer front ARB to run it on the hard, so the induced over steer from the rear negates the understeer promoted by the front

There's 2 holes each side, which makes 3 settings. The hardest is a bit ott for road use, I kept mine on middle.

mines is on the hardest setting atm and it helps in the snow because when the front end understeers the back end comes round to straighten you up :)

don't know what its like on dry tarmac though :(

Fitted the Whitline ARB last week on the soft setting and so far I can say it has made a noticable difference it now has much sharper turn-in with less understeer compared to standard, I haven't had chance to really put it through its paces yet but its definatly an improvement so far, would highly recommend one to someone who wants to improve the handling of their clio

hi guys im new on hear were is the best place to buy a rear arb from thanks

There's a group buy on here for a custom one, but you need to be a member to see it. Or you can buy from balance motorsport or demon tweeks and take your chances with how long it will take to come, anything from next day to 3 months!

  Polo + Micra
i've got a whiteline arb on the polo and on the medium setting i didn't like it so put it on the hard setting and it was much better.

Hi Andy,

I'm organising the group buy. They're £205 delivered, so a bit more than the whitelines, but they are rose jointed and have better fittings with more adjustability (if you need it).
There's no great rush to finish the buy, but I'm hoping to have the first ones going out in about a week. There's already one batch been made which have been well recieved.

I'll let you have a read through the thread and make your own mind up, there's plenty of pictures and feedback for you.

Chers, Doug.

Start soft and see how you like it then move up to medium if you feel the need. Don't start on the strongest setting because it's more likely to catch you out imo.

I've got one with the black bushes. They're no different apart from colour, Whiteline are changing all their bushes to black.

Fade to black they're calling the change.
