who got their rattling sunroof fixed

I was just wondering out of anyone who had their manual sunroof replaced on warranty, has it started to rattle again since? Mine has just started to rattle after about a month but i dont know whether to get it replaced if its just going to keep happening

Never had it replaced (on last car - 51 plate Dynamique) but had it repaired three times, and then gave up and turned the stereo up to drown it out.

The rattle on the sunroofs is a pain, you can have it fixed but most of the time it just comes back again.

Just tighten the plastic bolts up on the sun roof but not to tight or youll knacker the plastic holder on the outside saves a trip to reno and thats all theyll do dead easy

lol my sister has that rattle on her 1.2 dynamique, Im glad I got the Cup.

My Dynamique has just developed the rattle. Grrrrrrrr

so has my mark 1, happens around 70mph or when i go over uneven surfaces, any suggestions for how i can sort this out as it sounds as if it is on the drivers side of the sunroof but it seems secure enough??

My dealership says the sound doesnt exist (Im thinking of taking the manager round work as the roads there are excellent making it squeek).

First time they did fix it (well it was less often) but its back again.

theres a modification for the sunroof frame.if its done properely then it does work(fit new sunroof frame seal,additional washers to lift the outer frame away from the roof and apply friction tape to the inner frame).there is also a mod for the handles as well(where the handle rests on the sunroof frame stopper it rattles.you put some rubber tube around the rod ,on the handle,on the rod that rests on this stopper).the sunroof handles are also commen to rattle(even after the mod).can you feel a lot of sideways movement in the handle?

had mine replaced last week, no rattle now! i also pointed out that my leather steering wheel had a slight mark on it, so they fitted a brand new wheel, all under warranty

ive had the so called handle modification and its worse!!! it rattles when its down, rattles on notch 1 but on the highest one it doesnt rattle and is quite firm but i dont want it open when its pissing it down or freezing! They just grease it up with pink stuff and say they have modified the handle - rattled straight after taking it away - dont they bloody check!
