Whooped by a Valver!! - HEHE

I just got my ass absolutely destryoed by a valver on the way home from work.

We both came off the roundabout side by side. Both put our foot down about the same time. And it went and was gone. I didnt stand a chance. Was on the A303 about 4.00PM today. Was a Naples red on standard rims lowered. M plate!! Anyones on here?

It was a very convincing victoryu. Never seen one accelerate hard. Too used to being in one. It has made me miss my Valver so much!!! Miss the power and handling. By the way I was driving GF Corsa 1.4 16V Sport hehehe ;)

First time I have seen and heard a Valver in another car boot it. He had the induction kit on the go. Sounded the bollox. Monday should get mine back!!!

Ha ha! If my car was off the road and I got destroyed by a Valver, Id want to go home and fix my car right there and then! At least you know what you mlook like when you boot it to victory.

Well it should be back monday which is good. I have been pineing after my car for a week. Wrote that post trying to confuse people. As I have a 16V and got whooped big time one.

I am quite bored!! Dreaming of my VALVER :sleep:

iv been without 7 weeks. got it back last night but no driving hard till 1000k is up. Went out for a sneaky drive last night before i got tax and within half an hour had a saxo, nova gsi and pug 205 up my arse and overtake on the back roads...

That must suck some donkey dick big time. Still sure you would have had them buddy. What was up with yours then? HAd it rebuilt. Still when the 1000K is up then will have a nice new engine. bet it will go better!

yeah rebuild with a few nice extras as well while it was in bits. seems to pull a lot better under 4k which is the most i can rev it to for the time being, but its absolutely dying to go all the way to the limiter. Should be a bit better once its run in and needs chipping too. Bit lumpy on idle though and I cant get used to the gtt clutch either. its seems to be either on or off!

I went without mine for 4 week driving about in a 1.4 5 dr f reg escort but when i got it back with the 2L in it, it was well worth the wait and getting covered in oil.

Fine mate cheers, just got it back last night. Bored tonight and cant be arsed to go out so been on a nice 100 mile drive. Need to get to that 1000k mark asap. Its hard work driving a valver around and not going over 4k revs. Although it seems a lot quicker. I havent had chance to floor it once yet as it hits the 4k mark to quickly :-(

Well cam belt went snap due to tensioner seizing up. so had ported, polished etc head, kent cams, verniers, lightned and balanced bottom end, gtt clutch, gearbox rebuild. Just needs chipping (22nd march), fitting the de-cat again and running in (another 600 miles). Feels a lot more torquey under 4k. Havent been able to go over yet though. Fingers crossed should be a bit quicker than before.
