Whos good with french colours?

Sorting out a minor electrical problem but getting stumped with the abbreviations used, heres ones im stuck on...

So
Vi
Bj
Gr

its really doing my head in now

Gr = Gris = Grey
Vi = Violet (same in french and english)

I'll go and ask my mum about the others...

SO could be Saumon = Salmon

Can't think about the other one, the B could be for Blanc = White, Brun = Brown or Bleu = Blue, not sure about the J??

thanks yeah i thought so could be salmon.

the wires are:

-purple and gray - poss. Vi
-pink and gray - poss. So
-yellow and gray
brown (almost maroon)

I would say...

purple and grey - Vi - Violet is purple really
Pink and grey - So - Salmon is Pink
Yellow and Grey - Gr
Brown - BJ

mmm... although the J in Bj could be for Jaune which is Yellow in french... it's a toughy!
