HIYA,ITS JUST THAT I GOT A Y REG CLIO FOR CHRISTMAS BUT ONE OF THE WHEELS WERE GOIN FLAT AND WHEN WE TOOK THE ALLOY OFF IT WAS BADLY DAMAGED AND LUCKY ENOUGH WE DIDNT DRIVE FAR WITH IT ON B4 WE REALIASED, BUT IVE BEEN TOLD THE ALLOYS WERE AS STANDARD ON THE CLIO SPORT 1.2 16V WHEN BOUGHT NEW SO I THOUGHT SOMEONE MIGHT HAVE CHANGED THERE ALLOYS TO NEWER ONES AND MIGHT HAVE THERE OLD ONES FOR SALE? THANX

What I said in pm dancer... You could go for aftermarket alloys (non standard) or go for some other renault alloys which are always for sale here. depends on what your budget would be for new wheels.

Aftermarket are just alloys that arent renault originals made by someone else.

And when you say badly damaged whats wrong. Is it just where its been kurbed from being badly parked etc? If so thats nothing to really worry about it'll be fine. For driving on.

At The Moment My Budget Isnt Much After Christmas Etc So I Thought I Mite Be Lucky And Someone Might Have One Of The Same For Sale, Yeah Its Badly Damaged Its Got A Big Slit In The Actual Alloy And When The Garage Put The Spare On For Me, He Said That If I Had Drove Around On It Any Longer It Would Have Blown So I Was Greatful I'd Seen It, So I Need 2 Find One Now, So I Just Thought I'd Try This Website To C If Anyone Had One 4 Sale But It Doesnt Look Like Im Going To Be Lucky! Thanx Anyway

is the wheel or the tyre damaged? the wheel looks fine, if a garage broke it then get them to pay for it

I would contact the garage the car was bought from to be honest, tell them the problem and ask how they will resolve it.

I agree with Mr Angry . Get it back to the garage asap . Tell them it was like that when you bought it .If they don't wanna know tell em its illegal to sell a car thats not road worthy when its stated as road worthy ! I bought a second hand Pug 306 , when i checked the spare wheel a couple of days after , i noticed a bulge in the tyre wall . They gave me a brand new tyre there and then , fitted free .

are they 14"? if so you might be interested in my old alloys. They are similar design but 4 dual spokes rather than the 5 dual spokes you have. They are all slightly kerbed, and 2 of them definately need new tyres, but if yours are 14's you could the tyres swapped over. I only want £50 for them, pm if you want.

Good point !
I just assumed that she had bought it from a garage . If it was a private sale you don't really have a leg to stand on , sold as seen . If it was from a garage i would be right back there to get them to sort out the problem . When i pay good money for something i expect the goods to be of saleable quality or i'd kick off until it was resolved . But thats me , and not everbody is the same .
