All thats left to do is get them on a track for a mass shootout by someone like autocar or evo to see how they fair

Why a 182 over a 172? Well if you want an brand spanking new car then the 182, or is that to obvious?

As far as Im concerned any car that youve spent your hard earned cash on is the best
The 182 is the latest model. Thats enough to make many people choose it over a 172, or indeed swap their 172 for one.........
The 182 is more evolved than the 172/Cup (although not much), somewhat of a natural progression imho. Renault have cunningly take the best aspects of the 172 and the 172 Cup, and come up with an excellent compromise between the two.....
But as I read somewhere just becuase the 182 is better, it doesnt mean the 172 is bad.... and as far as second hand goes, there are some absolute bargain 172/Cups about.....
Just my 2p....
Oh, and I have a 53 plate 172 for sale if anyones interested...... price for part-ex against a 182 is not what Id hoped...
