Why are my rear arches different to each other?

Im feeling very confused.

I have owned my 182 since 2008 and have never noticed this before. Im confused because im sure I should have noticed this...

My rear arches appear to be different. Passenger side is flat yet the driver side seems to be rolled over. Incase that doesnt make sense i have attached 2 pictures below.

Joking. Probably an explanation but not something I've seen on a car I've owned. Can't say I've ever looked thoufh

The drivers side could've been repaired at one point.

That looks to be the case from the width difference and the horizontal marks in it

Mine are both rolled, all mk2 sports should be from the factory.
Could of had a new quarter panel fitted or they forgot to do it when new.

The passenger side rear has had a new wheel fitted buy the looks of it.
The reason i can tell is i bought a new 182 wheel from Renault to replace a curbed one and it was lighter than the rest and made the center cap look dark.
I returned it for a refund as they sent pictures to Renault UK and agreed the shade was out buy miles.

Just the way it looks in the picture mate. All have always been a great match and iirc, i swapped those wheels round anyway to even out the tyre tread

Oh right, that one will have a different date stamped into it on the inside if its new.
