Why can't I remove flash?

I un-installed flash some time ago, but my laptop still shows flash player as being active?
How do I remove this f**king crap?

I'm using windows 10, I can't find anything in the usual program un-install list.

Why would you want to uninstall Flash?

Might be a browser addon

As Cookie says, it's more likely you will need to disable the Flash browser add-on rather than looking for an application to uninstall. Check out the add-ons and extensions for your browser(s) of choice and disable the relevant plugin(s).

Why would you want to uninstall Flash?

Because it's a horrible vulnerability laden annoying piece of software? Can tell whenever my other half is on a site that's using flash as the fan in her laptop starts going nuts.
