Why is rapidshare so unreliable?

Okay so its a good service, i get my full connections dl speed, so 1,200kbps, but im right in the middle of downloading .... my important business files i uploaded to my premium account earlier.


BUT ITS DOWN AGAIN !!!!

you can't use it much then as rapidshare, as good as it is is always going down.

Exactly, i use it on a regular basis, i find it goes down a lot.

I use it plenty believe me , bar a few parts of things being down the odd time its always been fine for me. And it always seems to come back up pretty quickly.

I used to hate downloading p**n... I mean, important work documents, and getting to 99% before it deciding to give up.

Usually it was spot on, mind.

I use it quite a lot for work documents etc... and I mean a lot.

It has always worked well for me. One of the servers goes down every once in a while but the last time it happened to me was so long ago I cannot remember. But that happens to all other sites of the same nature not just rapidshare.

BTW Scutch, the 99% thing can be because of your Anti-virus. It usually only happens with the larger files. I use BitDefender, if it gets to 99% then fails, I turn off real time monitoring and start the download again, then it finishes just fine.
