Why wernt the 172/182 ever released in grey??

Was talking with a mate last night and was wondering why wernt the MK2 RS clios ever released in grey??

The standard MK2 clio came in grey but the RS didnt, i kinda think they would look good in a nice graphite grey colour????

I painted my engine cover Ford Graphite Grey at the weekend and it got me thinking randomly why they never got that colour.

I think they would have looked smart in a nice dark grey!! Although may have clashed with the cup wheels.

Yeah they would have had to do the wheels black or just the standard 172 wheels or non cup 182 wheels would look good!!

according to my log book my silver 182 is classed as grey :S

Never been a fan on Grey cars tbh, just think it matches most Autumn/Winter days in Britain & looks boring imho... Even the Nissan GTR looks gash in Grey.
