Do I keep seeing Cups for sale? Am I just imagining it or does there seem to be many more posts entitled CUP FOR SALE.

Is there something major that Cup owners have found which has put them off owning one?

I do see a lot of "I really love my Cup" posts, but just as many wanting to sell.

Ideas?

the cup doesnt have the comforts of the 172 like air con, traction contol, climate control and has annoying things like rattling sunroofs/engine mounts. other people are just hungry for more speed but cannot afford to buy or run a v6

Yeah but with the Vee pumping all the heat into the cabin, you dont see them selling them off? Does the Vee come with climate?

I did think of the hot weather, but was the Cup not aimed at those drivers who are more track minded. I thought the idea was an empty tin to chuck about the track and not a creature comforts cruiser.

All Cup owners are regular track day fanactics are they not?

Surely the buyers new exactly what they werent getting?

I dont understand this either. I have absolutly no plans to sell mine. Mind im fine in my lovely climate controlled habitat. Though i wish the rattles would sod off.

No. It has plain old fashioed coldish air con which is fine providing you keep the windows firmly closed. The cabin fills up with very hot air from the ducts if the windows are open. Curious this one as I thought the idea was to suck not blow?

Speaks a true buyer for bodykit looks only......

Im only selling mine cause I have got a company car on the way - (Civic Type R hopefully - so not all bad)

The Cup is great and I wouldnt be selling it if I didnt have to. .

Its everything I wanted in a car; everything I knew it didnt have - I dont miss, and everything I knew it did have, still makes it the most entertaining car I could afford. Full stop.
