Widen Rear Track, how will it effect handling?

Car  172 Silver Cup
I now have a Civic Diesel 2.2 '06, and I am not happy with the way the rear wheels hide under the arches. I am thinking about fitting some 15mm hubcentric spacers to get over this but how will the extra 30mm (in total) on the rear effect the handling?

in theory it will dial in oversteer as you change the speed of weight transfer at the rear.

What? :S

A wider track will reduce lateral load transfer across that axle, giving more grip. In this case it will increase rear grip.

If anyone wants to read into this then "Racecar vehicle dynamics" can be downloaded from "sources"
