Wider rear arches 172/182

Looks like Renault might have toyed with the idea at some time or another. It just appears to have added a little more width to the top part of the wing.

Not sure if these have been posted before.

Notice how the skirts blend into the arch rather than just end.

The 1/4s look w**k, would probably be ok if it was one metal panel rather than a bonded on plastic effort like on the vee.

Check out the side mouldings on the yellow one. wtf! also look at the red one's bumper where it meets the rear lights. Right mess!

Obviously just messing around to get an idea how it might look.

If you look in the 4th and 5th pics you can see a definate line where the panel ends.

Looks a little like the Saxo VTS/VTR idea with the clip on body panels to flare the body out. Clio looks better without it.

brembo brakes, so probably had to fit them because they must of changed the hubs not just brakes (probably off megane)

Is it just me or does the bumpstrip at the side not meet the door properly??
Looks wierd do the bumpers, its too much "megane" in it tbh ...
Now I know why its a development car :nono: lol

^^ That yellow one is what they should have done instead of the 182, it looks like its properly designed whearas the 182 exhausts are a bit of a friday five to five idea. I rekon the last clio with those megane type bumpers would have been superb, but they probably didnt do it as it would look better than the new shape clio!
