Now just got to get 4 wheel alignment done and give it a wash :D

looking good that, mind me asking what sort of price you paid for the conversion, im planning on doing it to my rep as i hate running spacers and would like some breaks on the back?

if your considering doing the conversion, would be worth keeping your eye out for a damaged 172 and rape all the parts from it and sell what you don't need to make your money back

cheers for the comments guys, going to get the front lowered down a bit more to match the rears and get it on the 4 wheel alignment tomorrow to have it all setup

Such a brilliant idea that should have been done from the factory, a renault sport diesel version!

Definitely needs 172 xenons, rs grille, splitter and body coloured bump strips, but I'm sure you'll be fitting those shortly anyway!

Out of interest can you get hold of the subframe lowering tools you're using there and any idea on price?

Remap wont necessarily put your mpg down much, but the nos can be used for those rare moments when you need abit of ooomf

Haven't got a clue on the price of the equipment

Those bits are on my never ending list of bits to do lol

Good news, had the 4 wheel alignment done today

Turns out that one wheel had 2 degrees positive camber and the toe was 3 degrees out - no wonder the steering felt a bit dodgy!!

Just need to get some camber bolts as one got mangled when we took it off!

Nice, real men change the rear beam as well though.

its on the cards. i don't suppose you know if you need to change the whole rear axle to do the rear disc conversion or whether the rear discs will fit in the standard axle?

Is the 172 axle wider?

Do the whole beam, far easier and you get the thicker arb. Width change is minimal if any.

But yes they will fit the standard beam.

Cool thanks for that, we tried removing the rear axle from the 172 and everything was seized sold and bolts were spinning lol (so we gave up!)

Good to hear the rear hubs and discs etc will fit the standard rear beam :)

oh good, im glad the splitter had a use :) will look 10x better with the splitter and rs grille fitted!
