will 1.2 clocks work in 172

Yeah I asked Edde a while back and he said the wiring is all different.

Not sure what it is exactly though.

When you say you wanted to do something with them... you know those drills that turn back the clocks don't work with these digi dashes?

172 goes to 8k normal only 7k?

There is a good chance they will work, there is only 2 wiring types going into the clocks, I myself fitted 1.2 16v clocks into my 172 cup conversion and they worked ok, i also used the cup clocks when i did have the 1.2 engine in the car. you might loose trip functions but the speed and rev counter will still work

Some of the outputs lines are different speedo etc are the same so in jon's case he was ok.
