Will 17’s fit on to my 16v phase 2

yes mate, they will as darth has said.
they dont fit on normal mk 1 clios though with out arch mods & eventhen it is a bit tight, obvously on a 16v & willy there is more arch space.

any wheels u could recommend me ? was also considering lowering it a bit but they sit pretty low anyway...what do u think ?

in the media section there are loads of valvers mate, personally i like the standard 5 spoke alloys.

It really does depent what your after, ie 5 spokes or multi spokes, also the colour of them too (silver or anthracite, or black maybe)

Hey they will fit, will look abit 4x4 though.

A little saying i made up...

"17s for show, 16s for a pro"

Cheers, Adam

I would say 16" better overall for your car. 17 is just for show.

Up to you, Are you a driver?

17s cheaper then 16s? you sure about that bud?

If you read that some where, they must have different tires on.

There is no chance a 17" wheel set, will be cheaper then a 16" wheel set.

If you want better road holding and quicker off the line, 16" will be best for your car. Either get 195/45 or 40. Not sure which is better.

mines on 17s with a 60MM drop all round, minimal scrubbing at the front, and i cant get full lock! but hey, its a small price to pay for looking good.

  LY 200

Mines down 60mm (i rekon slightly more at the back) and its fine, slight rubbin with 2 in the back but thats nout harsh anyway, it just seems to catch the plastic mudguards up in the arch!!!

Id stick a pic up of the rear wheel to show but for some reason the uploader aint working!!!
