Will 172 grille fit other models

Was looking to swap my standard mk2 facelift grille for the 172 mk2 version as i fancy a change but the k-tec silver one is:

a) overpriced

b) ugly

c) crap!

I was just wondering if it would be a straight swap or not at all possible.

its just that i was looking on the k-tec site and they said their chrome grill fits all models including the 172

aye ye need tae cut the origional grille!! so if any 1 with a 172 is gettin a k-tec grille dont cut the f*cker up just swap me and you can cut mine into little pieces!! if u want!!

why cut up the original grille ?? it comes out and the 172 one goes in...



PS.. the 172 one costs about £190 :S

cheers, better than my current grille but i prefer the 172

if you look at the new one, its nearly the same, just a slight design change on the actual 3 bars of it... think it still looks quite pants...
