will 182 exhaust system fit 172?

Just wondering if you remove the spare wheel and cut out the space(level the boot floor) will the complete 182 exhaust system fit?

I'm fitting a 182 manifold, decat and was going to purchase the k-tec 182 look system but had an idea!

ah! i wouldnt bother, hacking out a boot floor just to fit an exhaust seems pretty savage to me

Sounds like a lot of hard work just for the 182 look .Just got for the k-tec exhaust like you say . It'll probably affect your chances of selling the car as well imo .

go for the k tech 450 notes and get it fitted alot easyer than all that hard work of cuttin the car to bits.

Weighs a fair bit, hard to get fitting right, and second tail pipe doesnt actually do anything, most of the exhaust gases will come out of the first one anyways.

I'd consider selling my 182-style one for a fraction of KTR's price - is on a ph1 172 though so don't know if the backbox's mount differently...

imo it was easy to get fitting right and it was the biggest job on a car that ive ever done. as for the second tailpipe not doing anything thats tosh it probly does more than the first lol when mines running they both have pretty much equil amounts of fumes coming out.
it does weight abit more than the standard system yeah but looks loads better than the stealth imo.
id have one again thats for sure.
