Will dynamat be ok under the bonnet?

  VRS
as above, would it be ok to use this in place of the existing sound deadening attatched to the underneath of the bonnet?

If your cars engines that loud that you want to re-sound deaden it, id swap the ik for a panel filter, as probably not gettin great gains from it anyway fella.

its not that matey, the existing 'fluffy' sound deadening is rubbing against the strut brace so ive taken it off! i just want to put something under there to replace it as i will leave the area where it usually rubs empty if you get me?

ps. im not losing the maxogen for anything :D

i thought it was heat protector too? to stop the bonnet from heating up very hot?

leave it off. Its gay and crap the furry felt poo, its incredibly good as dropping down after a while and getting caught in belts.

Especially on ph1 1.6 energy meganes, also rests on the coil packs on them killing them, interesting fact that has no real relevance here

But if you want to make a heavy bonnet thats harmonically dead then yeah dynamat is fine
